본 설계안은 부평 1113 공병부대의 이전에 의해 생긴 대규모의 유휴공간을 지역과 주민들에게 필요한 주거, 업무, 쇼핑, 휴식 공간 등 One-stop 생활 편의시설과 지역의 랜드마크로서 재생시키는 것이 목적이다. 7호선 산곡 역이 개통되면서 형성된 역세권, 새롭게 조성되는 근린공원이 가진 잠재력 등은 지역과 소통하고 이웃과 함께 성장하는, 자연과 문화가 어우러진 maesTROVILL이라는 테마 아래 새롭게 재구성되었다. 산곡 역 지하와 연계된 Sunken과 단지와 공원을 잇는 Skybridge, 단지 내부 중앙광장과 연계된 옥상정원, 야외 데크 등의 외부환경 조성을 통해 부평시민의 자유로운 접근과 지역 네트워킹을 유도하였고, 랜드마크 타워 계획, 연계형 플랫폼 구축을 통해 주거, 상업, 업무, 여가생활이 혼합된 복합공간으로서 뉴노멀 시대에 대응하는 지속 가능한 종합단지 모델을 제시하였다.
This design aims to regenerate large-scale idle spaces created by the relocation of Bupyeong 1113th Corps of Engineers as a landmark for One-stop living amenities such as housing, work, shopping, and rest areas needed by local residents. The station area formed with the opening of Sangok Station on Line 7 and the potential of the newly created neighborhood park were newly reorganized under the theme of maesTROVILL, which combines nature and culture, communicating with the region and growing with the neighborhood. It encouraged Bupyeong citizens to freely access and network through the creation of an external environment such as a rooftop garden linked to the park and an outdoor deck, and presented a sustainable complex model to cope with the New Normal era as a complex of residential, commercial, business and leisure life.
