본 사업은 인천 인천 방위 사령부의 이전 부지 개발을 위한 최초 사업제안으로 5,000세대의 주거시설, 관광숙박시설, 공원, 문화 및 집회 시설, 상업 시설 등의 복합시설 마스터플랜 계획안이다. 인천시의 월미 관광특구 개발사업, 인천내항 재개발사업과 더불어 글로벌 해양 문화 관광도시 개발의 한 축을 담당한다. 주변 개발과의 유기적 연계를 통해 국제도시로서의 위상을 확보가 도시 시적 맥락을 고려한 토지이용계획, 해양관광도시의 GATE로서의 랜드마크, 해양 관광문화벨트와 소통하는 복합상업공간, 뉴오션 라이프를 반영한 창조적 주거 단지의 개발 컨셉트로 새롭고 아름다운 도시를 제시하였다.
This project is the first project proposal for the development of the relocation site of the Incheon Defense Command and is a master plan for 5,000 households, tourist accommodation, parks, cultural and assembly facilities, and commercial facilities. It is responsible for the development of a global marine cultural tourism city along with the Wolmi Special Tourist Zone development project and the Incheon Inner Port redevelopment project. Securing its status as an international city through organic linkage with surrounding development presented a new and beautiful city with a concept of land use plan considering urban context, a landmark as a GATE in a marine tourism city, a complex commercial space that communicates with a marine tourism culture belt, and a new ocean life.
