단국대학교 콘서트 홀의 주안점은 “원형 상징의 박달나무의 나이테를 형상화 한 음악의 물결입니다.” 원형 자체가 음악의 리듬을 흡수하고 있으며, 물결치듯 콘서트홀에서 단국대학교 전부로 퍼져나간다는 상상으로 계획되어있다. 원형 자체가 1층의 필로티 형식을 띄고 있으며 여러 접근 경로의 사이트를 인지하는 공간을 만들어내며, 이러한 효과로 원형 테두리 전부가 비목적성 광장 형식의 커뮤니티 공간을 만들어낸다. 또한 파빌리온 형식의 전시도 가능한 공간으로 만든다. 이러하듯이, 단국대학교 콘서트 홀의 범주가 음악이 아닌 예술의 범주로 넘어 단국대학교 전체의 예술 문화의 장으로 만들 것이다. 음악의 물결이 단국대학교의 예술의 물결, 미래를 선도할 단국인들의 새로운 물결이 될 것이다.
The focus of the concert hall at Dankook University is “a wave of music that shapes the ring of the original symbol Park Daltree.” The circular itself absorbs the rhythm of the music and spreads from concert hall to whole university. The prototype itself features a first-floor filotti-style, creating a space for recognizing multiple access-path sites, and this effect createsa community space where all round edges are not purposeful. It also makes the display of the Pavillion type possible. As such, the category of Dankook University concert hall will go beyond music to art category and become art culture hall of whole Dankook University. The wave of music will be the wave of Dankook University’s art, and the wave of the Danguk people who will lead the future.
